The Beginning of Something Beautiful

So after many years of writing songs, poetry, and pieces of fiction in my spare time, not to mention the years of ranting and giving advice out loud to friends and family, I felt it was time to get my own blog and begin letting the rest of the world hear some of these things. I have spent quite a bit of time getting this blog ready, and I hope that as time passes, I can slowly build up this place with posts of wit, anger, passion, and advice, and I also hope that anyone out there who reads these posts enjoy every minute they spend reading them.

To give a brief introduction to what this is all about, let me explain. Rarely does a day go by where something doesn’t annoy me, piss me off, or make me wish I had someone to tell a story to. Generally, these rants and stories have to do with the strange and infuriating things that happen in my daily life, or relate back to problems with today’s society, including problems involving politics and religion. I also tend to have a ton of advice towards relationships built up from years of experience helping my many friends, and yet have never written a single piece of this advice down, or have ever organized it in anything beyond the insanely broken file system inside my own brain. Hopefully this will change soon with this blog.

I also plan to utilize this as a public forum to display my writing talent. As of right now, I have a Word document saved on my hard drive that includes the beginning of my very first short story about a troubled boy’s journey through high school. I feel like that this may be the single best place I have to display my proficiency in writing, and I hope that it can blend in with everything else on the site seamlessly.

So in conclusion, if anyone feels like this site would be something they would like to keep up with, do me a favor and subscribe. I promise that you won’t regret coming back day after day to read more words of insight from the enigmatic mind of an anti-conformist.

Thanks,
Alex Vester
